Who we are

EEC was born from the idea of ​​Stefano Falconio and the collaboration with other entrepreneurs and professionals with twenty years of experience in the energy sector.

In 2011 Stefano Falconio founded a development company relating to a 36 MW wind project in Albania authorized in 2015 (Milot – Albania).

In 2013, through the company ERsenegal, he signed a Power Purchase Agreement with Senelec, the Senegal power utility, relating to a 20 MW photovoltaic project which entered into operation in 2016 (Khaone – Senegal).

In 2016 EEC developed a 10 MW plant and two 100 MW plants in the Middle East on behalf of Blunova Srl and in 2017 coordinated the design and construction of the 10 MW plant for which currently follows the asset management.

Qualified professionals are part of the EEC team who, between 2008 and 2011, developed, designed and built over 150 MW of renewable energy plants in Italy.

IPP and other SERVICES

EEC is an Independent Power Producer (IPP) and is investing in the development, and subsequent construction, of grid parity photovoltaic plants in Sicily and Sardinia for a total power of approximately 100 MW.

Furthermore, EEC coordinates and manages the development of over 1 GW of wind and photovoltaic plants under development / construction in Italy and abroad, on its own behalf and for third parties. In particular, the services offered by EEC in the field of renewable energy development are:

  • research, studies and hypocatastal analysis on the properties and site contact for “green-field” developments
  • liens screening on the identified sites
  • feasibility studies relating to the connection to the national electricity grid, and connection requests
  • preliminary, definitive and executive planning
  • Environmental Impact Assessments
  • Single Authorization procedures
  • Negotiation and contracting of PPA with traders and utilities
  • Participation in GSE auctions
  • Project Management and purchase and sub-contract management for the construction of renewable energy plants
  • Financial Advisoring for finding the financial resources necessary for the construction of the plant
  • Advisory during the commissioning phase
